Her success depends on the success of others, and there’s always fear that failure is right around the corner.
Her job is to connect artists with audiences and audiences with artists…and Leigh Holt has done it incredibly well. Just ask Oprah and Lauren Daigle and more than a handful of others so powerful she can’t publicly talk about them. But beneath Leigh’s breathtaking success lies an ever-present fear of failure.
And when it comes to raising her two boys, Leigh finds herself a little fearful too. But the beauty comes in persevering, in rising above the fear, and in moving forward—both in business and at home.
“The success came pretty quickly, but then I had no idea how to handle the workload. I went from working 60-70 hour workweeks in corporate America to now working 80-90 hour workweeks on my own. I was too slow to hire—too fearful to hire. I actually hit a really low point about 5 months after starting my company. And it’s always been fear-based.
Fear defines my life. Unfortunately. I hate it. I have to wake up every day and combat (it). The fear thing is pretty prevalent on a daily basis for me.”
